Today is the one-year anniversary of Gluten Free Fab Life! I can’t believe it’s already been a full year. So much has changed since I started last year. At the end of 2015, I left a full-time job to focus on running this blog and pursuing a freelance writing career. Well, it turns out that I didn’t enjoy the freelance work so much; it was a lot of work, a lot of hustle and a lot of financial insecurity.

I started the blog while living in Glasgow, Scotland. My UK visa ended over the summer, and I’ve been living with my parents in southern New Mexico since July. After a few months of trying to figure out next steps, I decided to stay in New Mexico and began applying for regular work. Two weeks ago, I was offered a job in Albuquerque, which I accepted – I start today, actually. So I’ll be back to working full-time, and continuing the blog in my free time.

In honor of this, I'm launching a newsletter. In honor of my year of blogging, I wanted to add a feature. So, I’ve decided to launch a newsletter. You may have noticed the MailChimp sign up in the right-hand side menu. If you’d like to receive my monthly newsletter, please add your email address. The newsletter will include a recap of articles on the blog from the past month, plus a collection of interesting articles from around the web on food, travel, health, and other related subjects.

Is there anything else you’d like to see at Gluten Free Fab Life this year? I’m open to your suggestions! Thank you for reading my blog over the last 12 months – here’s to another great year!
